Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Ethonode ("Ethonode", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What Ethonode is
Ethonode is a portfolio tracking tool. It reads balances and transaction history from the wallets and exchanges you connect and displays them in a customizable workspace. Ethonode is not a financial advisor, broker-dealer, custodian, or tax professional, and nothing in the product constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
2. Your responsibility
- You are solely responsible for your investment decisions and for verifying that the data displayed by Ethonode matches your own records before relying on it.
- You are responsible for the security of your wallets, private keys, and exchange account credentials. Ethonode never asks for private keys or seed phrases.
- You are responsible for meeting any tax, reporting, or regulatory obligations that apply to you.
3. Read-only access
Ethonode connects only through public wallet addresses and read-only exchange API keys. We do not execute trades, move funds, or sign transactions on your behalf. If you grant an exchange API key with anything beyond read permissions, we still only use read endpoints.
4. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when you register and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time.
5. Account termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use the product for illegal activity. We will make a reasonable effort to notify you before termination except where prompt action is required. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless a longer retention period is required by law.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis via Stripe. Stripe handles all payment processing; Ethonode never stores card data. You can change or cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal. Fees already paid for the current billing period are non-refundable except where required by law.
7. Service availability
Ethonode depends on third-party APIs (Moralis, Helius, CoinGecko, Coinbase, Stripe, Resend, Vercel, Supabase). The service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or completeness of the data.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ethonode and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or opportunity arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Ethonode in the twelve (12) months preceding the event that gave rise to the claim, or USD $100 if no amount was paid.
9. No warranties
The service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
